Dear Parents,
HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY to all the magnificent Moms in our preschool! We are so blessed that you have entrusted your most precious gift to us and have chosen Lil’ Lighthouse as your child’s preschool. Our prayer for you this month is that you will find time to relax and be refreshed in your walk with the Lord so you can be the Mom God has called you to be!!!
For all TTh moms and students, we will be having a “Mommy & Me” picnic lunch (bring your own) at 12 noon on May 8th and for all MWF students, we will have the “Mommy & Me” picnic lunch (bring your own) at 12 noon on May 9th . TK can come either day!
Please meet in the Family Room (Faith Café) (on the school side) first for a short time with Mrs. Menashe and then we will break for our picnic lunch together. There is NO ENRICHMENT either day. Plan to have a special afternoon with Mommy.
Daddy & Me will be exactly the same schedule as Mommy & Me (see above). For TTH dads, come on May 27th, MWF dads come on May 28th and TK dads come on either day. There is NO ENRICHMENT either day. Plan to have a special afternoon with Daddy.
Our themes this month are “Mothers are special and learning more about machines.” We will be starting practice for graduation with our 3 day and TK classes. Even if your 3 day child is returning in the fall to our TK, they WILL graduate with their 3 day classmates. The TK graduation is on June 3rd & the 3 day graduation is on June 4th . More information will be coming about the graduation ceremony and end of the year party (on campus). Both graduation ceremonies are at 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.
MAY REMINDERS
*Tuition is due on the 1st! Thank you for your promptness.
*May 8th & 9th – Mommy & Me (See above for details).
*May 16th – Adventure City Field Trip for 3 day and TK students. This is for 1 adult for each student. No siblings please. Please watch for the email with details! 😊
*No school on May 26th – for the Memorial Day holiday.
*May 27th & 28th – Daddy & Me (See above for details).
*May 29th – End of the Year party for 2 day students at TeWinkle Park , 9-11 a.m. All parents are welcome (siblings too) and are to bring food to share with your class. Your Room Mom will coordinate. There is no Enrichment for 2 day students. Last day for TTh classes!!
*May 29th – TK will have a regular day and ALL students are welcome to attend enrichment until 2:30. We will be having a special, fun-filled afternoon. Please remember to send in a lunch and let us know if your child is staying (unless they are already scheduled). 😊
*May 30th – Last day of Enrichment (afternoon program) for 3 day & TK students.
*June 2nd– Last day on campus for TK and 3 day classes 8:30 – 12:00. No enrichment program.
*June 3rd -TK Graduation practice and class party (8:30 – 10:30 a.m.) All parents welcome and are to bring snacks to the TK party! Your Room Mom will coordinate. Last day for TK!
TK Graduation @ 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.
*June 4th – PreK (3 day) Graduation practice and class parties 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. All parents welcome and are to bring snacks to 3 Day Parties! Your Room Mom will coordinate. Last day for PreK (3 day)! PreK Graduation @ 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. All 3 Day students graduate even if they are continuing with us next year.

*Lighthouse Community Church meets every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Sunday School and Nursery care are provided during the service. Please join us!

Looking Ahead to Fall
June 16-20 – VBS @ Lighthouse Community Church, (9:00 am – 12:00 pm).
June 23-July 18 – Summer Camp – 9:00-12:00.
July 14-18 – Summer packets mailed to your home (please watch for these in your mail).
August 1 – First month of tuition due & activity fee due for 2024-2025 school year.
August 25 – Open House for MWF & TK students – 9:00-12:00.
August 26 – Open House for TTh students- 9:00-12:00.
August 26 – School begins for the TK class 8:30 – 12:00 (No p.m. program).
August 27 – School begins for the MWF class 8:30 – 12:00 (No p.m. program).
August 28 – School begins for the TTh class 8:30-12:00 (N0 p.m. program).
August 28 – Back to School at 6:30 p.m. for everyone at 6:30 p.m. (Parents Only).
September 1 – Labor Day Holiday- NO SCHOOL.
September 2 – P.M. Program begins!
